Tey Hostel
is a lovely hostel located at the heart of Poznan. Literally 2 seconds away from the Old Town Main square where everything happens from bars to restaurants and Christmas markets. Modern, clean and quiet. All you need after a whole day walking around the city. A comfy bed with FREE wifi, coffee and tea and a super friendly staff. A 6-bedroom dorm will cost you £7 on average (depending on the time of the year).

Right next door, there is a new bistro Szarlotta that does breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ask for the manager Johanna, she is the nicest!

Saturday

What to do:

- From Tey Hostel, turn left to the Old Town when all the colorful houses stand in square. Walk around the place to discover the Christmas market, bars and restaurants as well as independent shops. Right in the middle there is also the Town Hall and various museums

- Head North towards the Imperial Castle , where the architecture is massive, hence why they call it more a palace than a castle (see photos)

- Visit the Fara Poznańska Church , a very colorful Church from the inside and the outside.

Where to eat:

If there is one place you must go when reading this city guide it's Bo. Ask the locals they will tell you the same. From morning to dawn, this restaurant will make you feel like home. Grab a coffee for study or get refueled with their tasty salads and starters in an atmosphere very cosy and lounge at a very reasonnable price.

If you are a fan of Tequila, this is the place to go. Tequilarnia serve their cocktails in a skal in a very Mexican / Frida Khalo decor.
